Our Profile

The Lennoxville & District Women’s Centre was founded in 1981. We are a community-based founded in 1981 organization dedicated to help English speaking women in the Estrie region. The Centre is at once a meeting place, a school, a food bank, a resource centre, a library, and a second home.

Members - The members of the LDWC are women who believe in and support the mission and work of the Women’s Centre. Currently, 182 women are members of the Centre. This year, many of these women have worked alongside staff, board, and volunteers, helping us to fulfill our mandate and empower and enrich the lives of women in our community.

Management - The day-to-day functioning of the Women’s Centre is ensured by an Executive Director, a Community Outreach Coordinator, and an Administrative Support Staff Member. A bookkeeper also supports the administration
